water injection rocks, and is going to be the only way i'm going to be able to run the car when its done, projected octane requirement at full load of around 104................anyway although high pressure injectors require a more expensive pump i think they are the way to go.

regardless, in in AP setup you're want the water filtered VERY well.

The tabletop mister I had back in college used an ultrasonic transducer to atomize the water. It was pretty cool, and hurt like a stab wound if you put your finger in the focus zone.

The misters have been shown to be okay for getting cuttings to root, but no good thereafter because the nutrients do not end up in the mist.

Those nozzles are able to throw paint, yes lumps would stuff them as well as they would need a clean occasionally to get rid of salt build up. As I said I am not a fan of aeroponics, twas only a suggestion, cheaper than some 'aeroponics company' set up.

Steve

Had thoughts of putting a little hydrogen peroxide in the water until my more rational half kicked in. Was supposed to operate off boost dump to pressurise a Ford water/coolant tank and boost pressure for air from my overboost container. Gave up after I got a Toyota Supra intercooler and a really nifty (and cheap) Pic programmed computer from autospeed, with sensors (injector load, external temp and intercooler temp).
Nasty rega brass sprayer end and Commode windscreen washer pump, relay, and it was good to go.
Company in the UK makes very nice water injection systems; if you have the money (can't remember the name), think they also have an agent in SA.

The Resun 'mist makers' say on the box "avoid touching the surface of the disc while in operation". you did read the manual didn't you

Another type of mister is one which shoots a stream of water around a sphere when the water comes back together on the other side it runs into its self and makes a spray. This type is less likely to clog.
