Looks great! Hopefully once our little ecovillage gets going we'll have chickens and a big BYAP system, too. Probably no pigs, though.

Looks good,

Funnily enough the way you found your place was pretty much how we found ours.. Basically just driving by and saw the sign and decided to have a look.

We made our "tree change" just under five years ago and haven't looked back, trust me you won't regret any of it.

thanks, I hope to get started on the ponics system soon. I already have 2 - 30 gal. aquariums sitting around, plus about 200 lbs of hydroton that I picked up for a steal of $30. I may start with a few feeder goldfish and a small growbed just to see how things work out before i move onto something larger.

now i'm just waiting for the weather to warm up some. contrary to popular belief , north florida gets cold in winter. tonights forecast low of 20F, tomorrow record lows in the teens. i hate cold, especially when i have to work outside in it all night

Don't forget the rest of the property, plant some fruit and nut trees now and it will reward you for years. THe reward is in the form of shade in summer and obviousy the produce.

I have some Hazels planted which are novel around here and have already had some interest from pastry chefs for when the trees mature, (just another avenue to explorer)
