I took some more test today. Everything is still 0,0,0.

Its getting cold now, so I have to cover my tank to keep the water warm. The lack of light is killing the duckweed in the tank. I removed the duck weed. I will see if I start to get any nitrates.

Well, I had to move my fish indoors because my water heater broke. For some reason up to this point I never had any nitrates! NONE! Could this be because my bio filter was always with out oxygen? I got'a wonder!

Anyway now that they are moved indoors there are nitrates in the aquarium...

update:
I am starting to build my full aquaponics system, finally. The hatchery will be 3 100 gallons tanks; one for male, one for female, and one for breeding and babies. I am starting to form up my beds. I decided to pour 4 40x4x1 foot beds and just seal and paint them. I am going to have 2 800 gallon tanks.

Now you see just how far ahead of time I got my fish before my grow beds!

When I get some pics I will start a new thread under member systems.

i dont think so. if the temp was inhibiting the nitrobacter then you would have a nitrite reading.................

its not that the fish are eating more with the warmer temps?

Thats what was weird. All readings were 0(Ammonia/Nitrite/nitrate). PH is a perfect 7. I though it might be a bad test kit, but it was not. I was keeping the temp at 70°F/21.1°C
