Not a chance Steve. There's no way she'd venture to the bottom of the garden where the faeries play.
My favourite faerie looks after my AP down there. I'll ask it when I get back.

you're gonna have to get onto that. all good AP men force their women to do AP things in their stead while they are away hunting and gathering

Watch those faeries, some are good and beneficial, others are downright nasty and should be properly exorcised. Unless you want them to do no.2 in your system? Guess it depends on whether you have been naughty or nice...

Well, Camden was fun, but I couldn't wait to get home to find out how my system had gone in my absence.
Well... oddly the water doesn't look much clearer, or redder.
So I had a look around. no water had pumped for a while, judging by the dryness of things. Inspecting the pump, I found it was red hot!!!
I pulled it apart and found a blockage in the impeller.
After a hefty clean and oil change, I put it back together only to find that the starter cap is blown :-( so I have to start it by hand :-(
Plus I discovered it was leaking into the motor compartment, and I'm lucky it hasn't blown.
It's almost worth me buying a brand new pump :-(

Damnable faerie must have interfered! - I hope I made 'Faerie Wing Confetti' before the pump jammed.

I wondered, but thought I'd leave it unsaid.

New pump from F&F today! Onga - big beast(physically) and virtually silent, which is great cos it's got a little less power than my old Davey - (mourn the Davey) and has to run for longer.
No more info atm, Set it up on a timer, going back to Camden tomorrow, so hopefully pump is still running when I get home Wednesday.
Wish me luck?
Photos com Wednesday.
Oh and I planted my growbed today, so I REALLY hope the pump works...

Must have been a big blockage to stop that pump, a little enthusiastic with the gb media KP?

BTW Davey's and Onga's (pool pumps) are not normally noisey.
