Ok! How do I delete the second one before complaints are received

Click on 'edit' and then in that screen find the 'delete' button.

But the moderators will mop it up... ROZ shame on you calling our local gods mops! *KP pauses and wonders if this has anything to do with posting from a higher plane of existence...*
Not equaling yourself with the moderators now are we Rupe? :-D

hey guys :)

KP is correct, and you should also be able to do it by finding the X next to the edit button in this screen.

you will find that certain areas allow deletion and others do not. PLEASE do not try and circumvent the lack of a delete function if it is not available :)

Steve

Nope, I'm not a mod and don't have their powers... else I would have done it myself KP :D

Steve et all... I think you'll find that you can delete your own post (as advised... to the right of the edit button, select delete) ONLY if nobody else has replied with another post.

Once someone posts a comment, the ability to delete disappears from the hands of us mere mortals and re-enters the province of those with more Godlike powers.... or at least more godlike than me

Think maybe this might have changed after an issue with deletions in the past Steve.

yup yup... you are correct Rupe. Again, showing my inexperience.
It's only in some topics though, I can't delete a post in member's systems, no matter if it's been replied to or not.

What gets me wondering is do the accidental posts get counted as a post, or do the Mops mop that up as well?

I have not tried escargot, either at a restorant, nor as a farming excercise. It would be interesting to hear from some1 who has.

Snails are great. The main thing is to feed them on bran for 72 hours and then starve them for another 72 hours. This cleans out their digestive system.
Personally I eat the big brown ones. Little snails are too fidly. They will grow on anything lush and green and prefer shade. They lay their eggs in moist sand. It is easiest to simply have a lush garden and introduce big brown snails. Then you don't have to husband them too much. In about a year you should have a nice family of snails sliding around your garden . In principal all you need to do is create an environment they love and they will look after themselves.

Cooking them is easy. Just saute them in a little garlic and butter. being carefull to not overheat the butter and burn it. Add a little olive oil or similar to raise the burning temperature of the butter if you want. Only cok them for about 3 minutes. Sprinkle a little parsley if you like the traditional way. DELICIOUS.
