Wow, didn't look like it's be sturdy enough. nice job. Hard hard is it to wheel? to the wheels bind under such a load?
- not that you intend to move it after you have it all set up of course.
But for interest's sake.

It moves quite easy actually. It is a rack made for weight :) I lock the wheels actually so my dogs do not get their head under it and move it thats how easy it rolls.

Actually I designed the system to prevent water messes. My older system would make a mess if I did not keep on top of it.

Very Nice Slicer. I must admit I was dubious, but it's impressive. I hope it all grows out well for you.

I am hoping it will work well :)

As for other news I purchased some strawberries that had been subjected to cold cold weather below freezing got them at a steal. Anyway to make a long story short I removed all the dirt from them transplanted them to hydro and 8 days later BAM they are starting to pop flowers and growing new leaves :)

Nitrites: Extremely high. However it starts out blue and changes to purple now instead of BAM being purple when I add the reagent.
Ammonia: is nil

Does this mean my system is cycling? And nearly complete?

I have not had any dead fish in quite a while.

It's part of the normal process of cycling to see firstly an ammonia spike that drops rapidly to zero followed immediately after by a nitrite spike, which in turn drops to zero and nitrates begin to climb....

So yes, you're probably cycling Slicer, about halway through....

Be cautious nitrite spikes are potentially more dangerous to fish than ammonia....... What exactly are your readings... pH, Nitrites and water temperature???

Can you do a water change, SD? That nitrite is a bit high for my liking. Also, stop feeding for a few days at least.

Yep, (sorry Slicer - distracted elsewhere ) as Janet says, that's pretty high.

Might be good advice (as always :D) to follow Janet's suggestion.
