Well you have all seen the construction side of things, if you'd like to see the system up and running and you're in W.A. then tomorrow is your big chance..

The harvest festival is on tomorrow, and it includes the grand opening of their aquaponics system..

I'll be there, Faye will be there, Duckpond said he might be coming along when I spoke to him the other day at Fayes.. If you haven't been to city farm before, then this is the ideal opportunity to come and look around.

Hope to see some of you there...

Luckily, they have had some fantastic signs made up, explaining how aquaponics works, I'll get some photos and post them later tomorrow..

What a great day...

Duckpond and his GF Jana, and TimC and Biofarmer all came along for a visit, lucky duckpond did turn up as a guy was specifically asking about a duck system.

There were many people from all walks of life wandering through during the day, there was live music in the background for most of the day which was nice, as well as lots of organic produce, including organic/biodynamic kangaroo sausages..

The signs they had made about the aquaponic system came up a treat and it was great to see people reading up all about how the system works.. We planted the system up during the morning with their organic seedling, and they had barra stocked in the tank only a couple of days before hand..

Yeah, the old notice boards are falling apart, they've had a pretty good workout over their lifetime... I'd really like to get myself some of those nice ones made up....
