Actually, I think DD saw more floating fish poo when he raised the protein content of the feed. Our tilapia like lower protein stuff.

From an economic point of view ie price for weight I would have thought fresh herbs would be the best.

There again I do like fresh strawberries and tomatoes :D .

I'd agree, but backyarder's don't have a HUGE requirement for herbs... you'd have to offload them. Tomatoes are also great croppers, mainly due to sale price being so high for good hydros.

speak for yourself ;) i had about half a bath tub of basil last year and loved every bit of it. parsley is also never enough :)
