 Phoebe "Destroyer of Worlds" Minipupu is highly offended at any suggestion that she is not all 'real'. She would like to inform you that she will be present in as many photos as she can to raise the calibre of discussion, but she is NOT CHEAP.

Been checking out the Reln Slimline 2100Litre rainwater tank at B today...$990...got a removable lid and would be real handy except it has two internal frames that would probably trap fish. Emailed Reln to see if they could be removed, got usual reply that doing so would void warranty, structual integrity etc...sides would probably bow out.

Update time... bought new 5000 litre poly tank today at a really good price...$20 after government rebate. Not bad. 1.8M x 2.25M. A few surface scratches, but I can live with that.

This will be the primary fishtank, and I propose to bury it about 400mm in the ground on a slope to allow access to the top. As I don't envisage that it will be empty for any time, the soil pressure should be ok. What do you think?

I will have to cut an access hatch on the top as the mossie filter hole is only about 300mm diameter. That is the only problem...should it be reinforced? and with what?

Look out AP, this is bigger than yours...
