A place to discuss aquaponics

Since i'll have a big front and backyard with my new house, i need to be planting an array of fruit trees.
i'll be needing dwarf root stocks to make good use of the space i have.
anyone recommend a good nursery south of the river that has a good selection

Try PM'ing TimC. think there is one near him, Hale Rd possibly. My son seemed to think it was ok. Used to have a few good ones in the Hills but land prices seem to have 'vanished' them.

Yeah, We have Dawsons on Hale Rd in Forrestfield.... Then Trees'a'green on Hale Rd as well, on the other side of tonkin highway... There is a good nursery in Maida Vale (I think it is still there)... And Melville Nursery is another good one. Plus there is also a good one on albany highway, heading into kelmscot.

The one on the left hand side of the highway going into Kelmscott has been bulldozed. Obviously the land was worth more for other things like lawers instead of gree plants

yeah, hate grass myself. all you do with the stuff is mow it on your days off.

Trees'a'green is my most frequented

I dislike mowing so much that I bought sheep. But then, I need to feed them in summer. Anyone for chops or a roast leg? :licks lips: Hmmmmm.

There is a large wholesale nursery open to the public in Forestdale called Cannings Trademart and if you need multiples, (as I would recommend) they have good stocks and good variety as well as good specials from time to time. If you have a business you may be able to get a tradecard.

Talked to my son said the one he goes to is Treesagreen.

Cannings Trademart no longer exists or has moved. all the nurseries on hales road are disappointing, i'll just stick to bunnings or the markets i think at this rate :/
