You mean a wife/partner/girlfriend doesn't usually let you store bathtubs in the library?

An update. It's been a busy election weekend. My order of PVC fittings arrived from wetearth during the week, as did a pump I ordered from Joel. Unfortunately it's not possible to order plumbing saviour faire over the internet, so there was a lot of improvisation today ...

Almost finished the drainage plumbing, but it's not siliconed together yet. Still have to do the supply plumbing.

Speaking of which, anyone want to sell me 10cm of 32mm PVC pressure pipe? I bought a 32mm-40mm adaptor, but I still need a small section of 32mm pipe to connect the pump to my 40mm supply plumbing. PM me.

Oh! I forgot to mention the hilight of my day!

After I finished the drainage plumbing on the GBs (& before I plumbed the yabbie tub) I poured water down the furthest drainage point & 13 seconds later I heard the splish-splash of water landing in my tank! :D At first I didn't think it worked cos it took so long - it's amazing how annoyed you can get in 13 seconds ...

IANAP (I am not a plumber) ... hence my excitement at something I guess many of you may find pretty trivial.

scottie, watch that bend! it can easily turn into a sipon if you're not careful. mine did ;)

i sorted it by cutting the end shorter, but mines not plumbed in like yours.

keep an eye on it when its at the level and has water flow, then dump a bucket or two of extra water in.

if you're at all dodgy on the possibility then just T in an air bleed

Hi Scotty

congrats on the plumbing efforts!!:) great looking system.

Very tidy.

Hope to share that same 'ive done it' experience soon. Nothing like a little ambition is there  their trivial is my everest toooooo.

There also seems to be a bit of a foot fetish on these pages so I guess you timber floor pic is not just AP porn huh

It hasn't been formally pointed out Tree Beard (thanks for raising it)....

as I think most experienced members realise that Scottie is a toe picture virgin....

to really qualify.... toes should be exposed....... don't be bashful next time Scottie

Nice one Scottie... :)

Mmmmm 32mm pipe is getting harder and harder to find, I've been slowly phasing it out of my systems wherever possible.. I wonder how much "B" would charge for 10cm of pipe..
