lol... and there I was thinking it was all being made into 'bio fuel'
if ever there was a scam, growing corn in the US atm is it.
Not that I'd have a problem if I had a few huge fields of it good to go atm lol

High fructose corn syrup, grain fed beef, and now ethanol (the gas at the pump yesterday was 10% ethanol), and it's all subsidized as if we need more of it.

Very interesting stories from the guys in the movie. They talked with a guy with a vanity license plate "CORNFED" and he said that the grain fed cows are so unhealthy that if they didn't slaughter them the cows would die in a month anyway from their stomach acids killing them. They have constant indigestion and so are loaded up with antibiotics. It would be like having 100 people in a subway car eating nothing but candy bars all day every day.

When the guys grew their 1 acre of corn they used a seed called "Liberty Link", which is a genetically modified corn that goes with the herbicide "Liberty". "Liberty" is so powerful an herbicide that it will kill all plants that are not genetically modified to be immune from it.
