G'Day,
Every time I edit my profile and try to add a signature, I update my profile and everything works ok, except that my signature entered in the box is ignored and dropped.

In short it crashes - silently - imho the worst kind of bug.
Any Ideas?

If the edited "signature"shows in your profile when you go to re-edit, then I think it's fine....

You just might have to "tick" the "Attach signature" box..... like the one to the left of where ypu post a quick reply.... or in the profile

Damn My inability to explain.

When I edit my profile, it has a signature text box.
It is empty
I add text
I hit 'Update Profile'
I edit my profile again. Box is still empty.

OK... try this....

Add your "text".... the hit "Preview" to make sure it's there.....

Then "Save"........ then and only then "Update Profile"

Wasn't there something before where you had to add a URL to my website bit?

Damnit I can be a gumby sometimes!

Was adding it in the text box for 'Always attach my signature:'
not clicking on the button 'edit my signature'

What is the big text box 'Always attach my signature:' for then I wonder...

It's doing a damn fine job... To be fair, I had underestimated it's ability to achieve it's goal, but then we Laymen oft commit such sins.
