Good question mate ... pack says ...

Quote:
Whilst the content of this pack is formulated for application through your garden hose, it can be diluted for application by watering can at the rate of 150-200ml per 9 litres of water

Their words highlighted... sounds like the concentrate....

The twin pack says ....

Quote:
To re-use your 2 litre spray pack...

Pour 500ml of Seasol concentrate into the bottle (2ltr) and fill with water

BUT... the 500ml bottle I've got says....

Quote:
Add 2 capfuls (20ml) to 9 litres of water - Edited to correct

Bloody cheapskates......

Mind you I can't remember what the 500ml bottle cost me anyway.... normally I buy "Maxicrop" :D

I was the first seasol rep in vic 23 years ago. Loved it but had no idea. Had i got some genuine product support and teaching, we would be doing some pretty hot seasol byap deals right now!

Still got about 1 box of 375ml bottles from all those years ago. It still works!

Ok ... a 500ml costs $10.....
(Corrected above post... 2 10ml capfuls/9 ltr)

20ml/9ltrs => 25 mixes in 450ltrs of water.... coverage 2-4mtrs/mix => 50-100 sqmtrs

If you except the strength of the 2ltr (as advised by the refill instructions) then its 500ml in 1.5 ltrs of water... significantly stronger.... then its supposed to be sprayed on with the hose connector to cover 100 sq mtrs

Presumably this dilutes to about the same ratio as above

Twin pack therefore (supposedly) covers 200 sqmtr

Therefore the $10 the twin pack provides a minimum of twice to four times the sqmtr coverage as the single 500ml bottle.

There.... now I feel better about it

with more time I have come to the conclusion that looks like this:
500ml @ $10 produces 450L dilute solution[ 10ml/9ltrs]
4000ml @ $10 produces 239L dilute solution[150ml/9ltrs
Glad I left school at 15 it gave me something to learn
