just on the trout thing steve, my silvers basically shut down over winter and so everything shut down. to prevent this this season i've been considering trout. do you think this is a viable option? will still have 100perch in there too.

on those figures of ap harvest, do many of you experience the same sort of production as joel?

Worms, thigs slow down, but I believe most nitrogen comes from the fish breathing, not just their waste. I could be wrong because I havent quantified that yet.

Jamie has 250 silvers and jades. How did hers go over the winter?

:rr:

:rr: my water temps got down to about 13oC during the day in winter. The fish did slow down a bit in their feeding but only for a few weeks.
The veggie picking was on going ;)

The water temp now is 26oC, the fish are very hungry :D

Yes Jamie, but how many times have I told you.. You cant feed the children to the fish! It's not right...

I think barra are more fun, but silvers for me I think are the way to go. Ive got another crazy plan in my brain atm...
