im thinking you need to invest in some wire or gaffa tape to fix said hose to the tank much more securely

Ohh and bad luck about the jobs too

I would like an opinion on whether i can drain 4 or 6 ,650 litre growbeds with .40 drains into one .90 mil pipe to run back to my sump! I think it would work with flood and drain but how about autosiphon? There will minimal fall to sump! Just dug a hole to bury an IBC as my 120 litre wasnt doing the job
Thanks in advance for any advice.

I don't see the drama, it just may take a little longer to drain. Just need to watch ur pump cycle and adjust it back if things look like they are gunna overflow. Am no plumber, but my 2 cents.
I will have 8 bathtubs draining into a 90mm stormie, let ya know how things go. I am expecting a fairly quick pump cycle and a fairly slow drain rate.

Have u turned the hose off yet?

I would go bigger Niloc on common drain return..say 150 dia
6 x 650 L is alot of water to dump..will cause alot of turbulence. All depends on how quick you want it to drain I suppose.

As they're in a dam Niloc, there could be numerous causes or even multiple causes.... could be air or waterbourne (flood) bacteria for instance...

Hard to say Niloc, I'll let others with more experience comment....

Sounds like a fungus but could be a parasite.....

Can you describe it more fully or post a picture.... might help

Colin, my SP had ICH, the white spots were only 1-2mm in diameter so would think 20mm is a tad large for ICH - can't help as to what it might be tho

Had thoughts it might be SAP.... but I don't know if that occurs in an outdoor dam situation.....

May even be a secondary infection following on from an external source like pesticide spray... poison/stress.... fungus/parasite....
