Unfortunatly i was out from 1pm till 8pm so the last time i got to put a 2L bottle in was 1pm (only did 3 lt total)

got home at 8pm expecting to be cooking up trout for sure, it was 30+ for most of the day.................

Nup, trout were FINE. temp of water at 8pm was 22C................

Steve if you have spare frozen water I would put it in to reduce the thermal build up.
getting towards november and the cumulative effect will be to average higher water temps.
What is the temp now?

on the edge there steve.
unbelievable, if you have a spare I'd throw it in.
It is easier to reduce the temp if the (ambeint) temp is falling.
too late after the temp goes up.
IMHO
