Hello to all the crow eaters.
There's been a few people interested in getting together face to face to talk aquaponics. I'd like to offer my backyard in Hallett Cove on either Saturday November 10 or 17 (17th is my preference though), for a couple of hours in the afternoon, say 1:30 to 3:30. If there's anyone interested, or if you have a preference for a particular date, please speak here or PM me, and in a week or so I will post further information. I have invited a couple of professions in aquaculture/aquaponics (No, not Monya) and am waiting to hear if they are available. I've also got a couple of friends interested in coming along to learn more about AP, one of whom is an electrician who specialises in solar.
Please note, this will be a family event. Kids are definately allowed but parents must be responsible to supervise them in and around the pool. And also, apart from the pool and the AP, this is a dry house so there will be no alcohol but we will make great coffee (and tea).
Hope to see as many of you as possible, please let me know if you are interested.
David

Hi KE sounds like a plan, although we do have a shindig to go to up north in the evening.

Yeah I've got to go out that night as well but if we aim for a start around 1:00 and we can have it wrapped up by 4

Hey KE14,
Don't want to crash your party, but are you interested in hosting AP wannabes? I have a couple of people who want to know more, and this might be a good opportunity. Although with some of the [s]obsession[/s] enthusiasm levels in the gang, it might completely freak them out

In order to acheive the highest levels of AP annointedness, the conversion of non-believers to the AP faith is as much a requirement as gravel washing

Well, I've washed enough gravel
...and on the 7th growbed, EB used expanded clay balls, and then rested.

I have a couple of friends who are very interested in having their own BYAP system and may come along. I'm happy for friends of forum members to come along provided they have been invited by the forum members and havent just heard about it on the grape vine and invited themself. (You know if they're going to be our sort of people  )
