Hi Adam78

Welcome to the forum
Great to see some pictures of your current hydroponic system.
Have you got any details of your aquaponic system?

Hey Adam, welcome.
There have been a couple of people already say hello here a few pages back, one from Lincoln and one from EP. My suggestion would be to ditch the hydroponic chemicals and just plug your hydroponics into a big fish tank. Show us your pictures/plans.
David (formally from PL)

Hi all,

Will send some photos when it's going- won't look so tacky then (recently moved into new place). The hydro systems I've got are just small and basic- rockwool flood and drain for strawberries, drip (to waste) coco coir/peat moss for raspberries, rhubarb and raft-type set-up for lettuce.

Monya, yeah that's me- uncanny! How are you going with the tanks? Did you need to brace them? I'm actually using 1 of the tanks myself.

full of gravel they don't seem to need bracing... unless you put too much pressure as in stand in the gravel too close to the end the end bows out a bit... happy with them though, they are veery strong.

Hello all

I'm thinking of buying a 30KG sack of fish food (Luecks barra pellets sinking) from my local feed store (notice I didn't say pet shop  ). They want around $60 dollars a bag ($2 a kilo). The only problem is that 30kg is a little too much for me so if anyone's interested in splitting a bag, send me a message.

I live in Hawthorndene, and the way I see it is I buy the bag, people pop round on a weekend (bring a container)....

Anyway if anyone's interested please let me know, or if anyone can get it cheaper then definitely let me know and I'll share your bag :D

The pellets are 4mm (I can get then in 2, 4 or 6; but the 4s are probably most suitable for me at the moment) and depending on interest I'll order them in the next fortnight.

If anyone is interested in the 4mm pellets we are getting a bulk delivery this week and are happy to sell to forum members at shop price, any quantity.

I'll be heading down to Monya's place hopefully this week (Thursday?) if anyone wants me to pick some up you'll be able to grab them from me at Hallett Cove or on the weekend from Flinders Medical Centre - just send me a message or post here.
Monya are they floating or sinking pellets?

I thought the RSG was meant to be here last week, neither Monya or I heard from him.
