How long did it take for the spinach to grow that big LB?

I put in some with my silverbeet beginning of June, a spinach leaf is hard pressed to cover the tip of a finger (have been harvesting the silverbeet for over a month now  )

ps - love the growth you are getting on all your plants

IT appears that different types of spinach perform quite differently. I had the same experience as you with some stor bought seedlings Les - pulled them out to make room for something that works. Will try other varieties.

EllKayBee Said "How long did it take for the spinach to grow that big LB? "

Can't recall Ell. 4-6 weeks from seedling I think...Ripped it out today because it was growing straggly (long stems)...took some lettuce out also. Getting sick of eating it...Room now in GB1 to plant something different. GB2 with the snow peas, was all grown from seeds..now a jungle..Will clean it up abit when I get GB3 & 4 online...
Fish are happy and getting fat...
