PH= 8.0
NH3=0.0
NO2=0.0
NO3=0.0

Plants are showing signs of Iron deficiency, but that might be due to the high PH as much as anything.

Dad has two trout left between them having got sap and the jumpers.

Have put a stocking 1/4 filled with worm castings and a chopped lemon into the top of the bio-barrel in an attempt to slightly lower the PH and provide some nutes for the plant while we get some Silver perch happening for them

not sure, he has had to throttle the pump back (extra bypass) a couple of times but i think that may be more due to the pipes settling and sagging. i would have like more support under them.

Test results after i sliced lemon and a bit of worm castings were added thursday

NH3 = 0.0
NO2 = 0.0
NO3 = 0.0

PH= 8.0

I might get them two squeeze a couple of lemons into the pond to try and bring the PH down a little

Put in some shell grit so as the pH rises, the calcium will disolve and act as a buffer...

Went for a visit to F&F's place today. I am constantly amazed at 3 things........

1) the sort of stuff people throw out
2) the amount of this stuff that F&F has ;)
3) how expandable F&F's system is :)

Anyway, after a beer i manages to beg 5 silver perch outta F&F for the old mans system, he's getting rather disallusioned with the AP thing because the silvers are so tiny and the plants are so hungry.................

5 of F&F's silvers both make the pond look better and should give the plants some more nitrates.

Thanx again :)
