i was origionaly trying a goose neck because i have a shallow GB it is a rain gutter.

i changed the design and ran the siphon through the bottom of the GB instead of the side. and i got it working great now!

tomorrow i will add the river rocks i collected and let it cycle while i go to work.

Valdare, it is not important to drain all the water out of the GBs...I leave about an inch in the bottom, it mixes with the next lot of water inflow so doesn't stagnate
