You mean to seal up the biofilter to be pressurized? That sounds difficult. Maybe you could just run it as a side stream using gravity.

We have carts at work to move PCs around, they have a shelf underneath and another on top, with wheels. Something like that would be easier to work with than the shopping cart because it seems to be full already and there are a lot of angles with a shopping cart. Maybe you could put one together with some plywood, 2x4s, and casters.

hey dank fish, good work with the setup, i build a system similar to that but i use ntf instead of drip, one thing i learned with my system is that the pipes clogg up with goo after a while so do u have a way to take it apart to clean it? and with ur drain u should put in a screen off set from the end like an inch or two otherwise (depending on the plant) the roots could endup clogging the drain, also another way to fix this would be to make an acess spot near the drain so u don't have to disturbe the plant to get to the inside of the drain to clear it. as for ur biofilter, mine is as the end of the run before the water drains back into the tank. i think as long as its in the system somwhere u will be ok, having it above ur tank would prolly eiminate some particles from clogging the dripp holes though. other than that keep up the good work

hey rblaster thank for the advise

i have it cycleing in my back yard with know fish.

but have replaced the end caps with slotted drain covers, and i put gravel in the tube its self, and the end.

the tube running up on top is not a drip, it is fully spraying (with some force) in to my net pots.

this system was in spired buy urs system rblaster.
very simple, i like that
