I think that aquatic worms like these might be very appropriate grow bed, or even the bottom of the tanks where fish could forage for them.

Re the worms stuff:

I pulled out a wong bok today and went to brush off the gravel from the root growth, first the worms started falling out of the root ball, then I noticed worm capsules, so cut off the roots and put it back in the GB.

Not only are the worms enjoying the AP system, that are also reproducing...I believe they blend in well to AP

edit - and I keep finding worms in my sump tank still enjoying worm life under water :D

Old thread, but I thought I would revive with my appreciation. I am looking forward to using what I have learned on my new in-pond bio-filter and worms. Wow, it just all makes since now.

Thank you very much guys and gals! :blob:

Worms came in Thursday, and I put about a handful each into the grow-tubes, followed by the rest of the 500 into a 5 gallon bucket bio-filter. Can't wait to see how this turns out. Thank you guys for all your information. These threads are a wealth of knowledge.

Thanks. I presume they are the same sort of worms used in those worm farming bins?
