High Density yabby farm complete equipment for sale.

Comprises of 3000 Litre grow out tank, 1000 yabby cells, biofilter, heater and pump for grow out tank.
2 500 litre tanks and 10 breeder tanks with biofilter, heater and pump.

System designed to hold max 1000 yabbies in grow out tank.
Capable of having 10 pairs of yabbies breeding at any one time.

Other equipment such as nets, juevenille feeder tray etc included. This is a complete Yabby breeding and farming system. (No I did not design it)

System is proven successful but must be sold as I am leaving Australia to go and work in Finland.

No set price but looking for a minimum $5K as full equipment costs $20K new. Guaranteed to be in perfect working order as is only 2 yrs old. Unit is in Albury and can have freighted to you at your cost.

HD - maybe you can provide some photos and some more information that might add to people's interest, such as:

- how long does it take to grow out a yabby in this system and what size are they at that point
- how do you feed the yabbies when they are in this type of system

For those interested, there is an excellent yabby article in the Austasia Aquaculture June edition. (www.AustasiaAquaculture.com.au) Some excellent pioneering work on cells, feeding rates, growth, flow rates etc, taking place atm.

Don't worry Chappy - it is highdensity who is more likely to be accused of being rude. In fact I'm inclined to delete this thread altogether given that HD has not even had the courtesy to answer any of the questions or advise that the item is sold.
