I found these tanks online, what do you think?

The 4,000 L round tank costs about $880 according to their pricelist.

I wonder if they might do cheaper prices if enough people are interested from Perth.

I recjkon it's a bit shallow, would be better to go for the next one up.

Yeah I was thinking that actually, either the on above it or the one before it seems ok. At least 1 metre depth.

What do people think about the price though? Is it worth buying new or looking for something second hand that may not last as long?

If you've got the bucks, I waould say go for it, they seem really good value.

That is good value TC. Can anybody fill me in on the advantages or disadvantages of FRP as opposed to the normal poly tanks.

I am guessing it is like the hard coating on newer pools, It is must be stonger and more durable than normal plastics.

It is also a term used to describe Fiber Glass.... a combo of glass fiber and polyester resin as used to manufacture boats, and tanks etc.

That's funny, I was on their site yesterday. I like the look of them and am weighing up whether to go for galv or these ones. I will probably speak to EB's guy first as I want to get a nice galv rainwater tank made up, and will probably get a good price if I get a rainwater tank and aqua tank from him at the same time.

Definitely check with Mark from Rainfill (or Denise) {EB's guy}. Like I said in another post, I ordered a custom size on monday, it was delivered friday. Very happy with the look of it and the service. The prices are also very good.
