We will contine to keep you in our prayers and know that all will end well. We recently ran into problems with the city on our new AP site, but as we are working with them, and alot can be done when you smile at them and talk nice, they are now trying to help us find solutions.

Photocopy the one you gave the Police....

I never 'gave' them one, they took one down from me and I did not want a copy... I was there, I don't need reminders lurking in the house only to pop up some day...

Fair enough, just thought it might be an easy way out and a way to be consistent if anyone were to try and nitpick between statements.

Didn't mean to upset AM

No, I had not posted it, just walking through it. We still live in the middle of our city. We are in plain site of every one, which is good. Running a place with women and children can get real sticky as people like to talk, ya know. We went for a permit to put up the covered area for the AP. First, they said they could not permit it, then they said that we could with a 25 foot set back from the the road, we only have 30 feet, but as we talked, found out their names, got on a first name basis and just smiled, they started looking for the loop holes for us. Now they only want a 5 ft set back and may even give us a variance for the last 5 ft as this on an ally side that is not traveled. They also had other things they were talking to us about, such as a few men live with us, most of them staff. However, after a 4 week time of talking they just dropped it. Now we have a new occupation licence and all else has just "disappeared", no more discussion. Mother always said you can catch more flies with honey instead of vinegar. Let alone the city watched us over the last 18 years and know that we can return to them good working members of society that used to take from the system. We have never fought with our city. We have always honored them and helped them help us.

He wont be happy with my statement as I have spent the last year putting as much of it as possible out of my mind, not allowing myself to go over every minute... but it will have to do as I am not giving them any more than I am comfortable with!

You will do fine David. It took time for me to be able to talk about the passing of Joshua. It is a long story, (that I will make short) that I do not think I told you that we had problems at birth, and do to a lady at our medical clinic and issues she had with us she would not let me have medical care which resulted in his death. I had lots of emotions concerning this lady and when the authorities showed up to accuse us of child abuse I could not believe it. As I said all ended well and over the time we have had the healing needed. No one wants to face such a painful time in our lives and who knows why this is coming up now, but I will pray for you to able to turn this around to help others through the years to come.

Another step forward...
I got electrical cable from the maintenance guys yesterday (they were going to turf it as we cant do our own electrical work being a school) so as soon as school was out I got home, dug the furrow for the conduit and threaded the cable through it... connected the pump and transformer and (just as the last teeny bits of light faded), plugged it all in...
The pump runs well :)
The plumbing I am using is a bit small (garden hose) so I am going to use 19mm polly pipe instead!...
So all I have to do it finish the plumbing and build the bridge, then I can finish the rock work and plant out the garden as well - then all will be good :)

got a lot done this weekend...
Did a whole bunch of mulching, filled the middle pond with river washed pebbles so that it was only about +- 10cm deep, finished the rock work around the bottom pond, installed the plumbing and started to plant around the top pond... still have to start the bridge, but I will wait till the end of next week before I do that :)

The water is a muddy red now... when the whole system is finished it will be drained, scrubbed and filled with fresh clear water, and a week after that it will be stocked with goldies...
