Hi all,

Thought I would show yas a coupla pics from our new place. We are on 16 acres about an hour out of Adelaide. All is going well, we are very busy. We have some fish but not many, and are very slowly getting our first AP system organised, but it is competing with all the other day to day stuff and work.

We have some chooks, and 3 goats, a mum and her twins which we got the day they were born. The goats names are (mum) Astrid the Cosmic Goat, Rosie and Goatie. They are quite friendly, and we will be employing them as chemical free blackberry control
The cows don't have names as they are destined for the bbq  We may try and have calves down the track too... just gotta source a boy cow
We have our first olive oil ready to be bottled tomorrow which is exciting. It ain't a bad drop either :) The old owners left us to pick the olives so we thought we may as well crush them, and ended up getting 120 litres of oil.

Isn't it great to be away from the city noise? Nice to be able to have chooks, goats and cows along with some FISH.

you serious? How can you tell the difference? The guy at the cow shop said they all started out as girls, then went up the hill to greener grass and turned into boys at 2 years of age....

A great looking place - so very lucky mate! Ever thought about putting in 1 or 2 self catering units and renting them out holiday makers? charge to feed the goats etc ;)
