Have heard of this.

Never tried it, but am open to the concept.

Ask any nurse who works in an aged care facility. Patients are heap more..........restless (tame word).........during certain phases of the moon.

Do you think I should post one?

well there is a lot to it.thought it starts like when the moon is getting smaller there is less influence (Waning) and has an influence on root developement went the moon is getting bigger (waxing) the influence is on growth an stem/leave developement. then there are other times best suited to weeding/sowing.Root crops/seed producing planting etc etc...
Best I upload the link.

C1, about the GF or about explaining it.

Neither :)

I am aware of the concept but it sounded like you had much more in depth knowledge. It would have been as easy for me to google it, but for the sake of sharing info here you sound like the man (assumtion, you have no gender listed :)) for the job :)

Very informative post, thanks!

Cool Steve,
Kind of make sence that there is a bigger picture.
All creatures feed and breed by the moon and it seems plants too.
I will create a word doc that outlines the basics which will probably
get people to read in more depth.

no worries! just upload it to the file section.

I've said it before and i'll say it again.

Mans greatest weakness throughout time is that we give our intelect too much credit, we always think that we "know it all". dark ages to present day, nothing has changed, when mankind looks back in 400 years we will look like medieval doctors. But we can't temper our pride enough to realise it and keep an open mind about things.

Thats my rant for the day :)

My GF came across this on the web today. Can't vouch for its accuracy though.
Quote:
"Did you know that the word 'lunatic' stems from the fact that so much of the human body is water that we react to the earth's tidal fluctuations and the gravitational force created by the moon? Which is why it's said people go a bit loopy during a full moon - it's lunar-tick. I'm sure I read that somewhere."

Have i mentioned that a friend works as a RN-div1 (nurse) in a aged care facility and there is no question about the "differences" in the residents behaviour during a full moon.............

Thought it was intereting
