I'll see if I can get a capture card from work, then I'll give it a go.

I forgot it is on this Saturday. No promises on the live part but definately record and upload with a few hours.

Plus I am at work when it airs so, I need to tape it anyway....

DISCLAIMER.... Who cares!! :D

Well, enjoy a "cuppa" or two for me. I know everyone will be exhausted by the time it is all over, but hopefully more people will have a better idea of the principles of the system and may even be tempted to try it!

Well it was very quick and it sounded like it was my idea.
My idea was to be able to garden all year round under cover, so I'm not sure if they edited and added a bit of it or if I was tongue tied. I didn't have a script or any warning that they were going to put me on.
The footage was nice and clear and the vegies were oh so small compared to what they are now.
The broccoli heads are forming and we have large snow peas grown from seed. The fish now do Flipper impersonations at 3 months of age. There are tomatoes on the plants just starting and it looks very healthy. Today we had visitors to the garden a week early and after catching a glimpse of the aquaponics I'm sure they will be bcak next week.

System looks good, but your pictures here look even better! I am surprised they didn't mention joel or his buisness or the site etc. They seemed to cover of advertising all other parts of the show.

Yeah fairly short segment, but anything is better than nothing... :) It did sort of come across as your idea on there, but anyone who knows you knows that you would never have meant it to come across that way.. Ahhh the pressures of tv appearances... :)

To do that Fizzy, I would have had to pay them.. Might do it one day..

I'm trying to get the segment online, might take a little while, especially considering just copying it from one puter to another via wireless is gunna take 45 minutes... Then I have to get it small enough to put up...

Xvid is all very well, but gotta get software to cut out the segment, shrink the dimensions, then convert it....

why not covert it to xvid (to reduce the size on disk), then edit away.

I was sure that AP was the idea of some dudes from Queensland.

I'm not sure that the dudes from QLD actually have any idea....

They're just selling the idea......

Apparantly you can charge exhorbidant prices and it's a lot more profitable than snakeoil :D

Depending on what you encoded it into EB, Windows Movie Maker is your easiest option. You don't own a MAC do you?

There are plenty of free software out there to do it.

I missed it too, the recording stuffed up *cough* wrong channel. And I was at work.
