Kevin, I also did not remember that Tom had passed away and that it may not be in operation any more.

I have a lead on some free 55 gallon HDPE barrels. However, it is believed that they contained auto soap for carwash before hand. Would these be okay to use for a barrel aquaponics system?

if they were washed and rinsed really well, they should be fine. One of my drums had engine wash in it.
