Well done mate! 8) 8) 8)

I am hoping to earn my shirt, hat, shorts, and underwear soon! :)

Joel ..

the fish pond ...

Maybe it is worth investigating another option ..

ARTY FARTY!

Perhaps a shallow rectangular sunken pond option would be nice for those people like koi keepers?

Similar volume... different profile .... less industrial, more art!

I think a japanese style garden pond (rectangular or other geometrical shape .. custom shapes...?) full of nice fat koi supported by casscading AP growbeds full of colourful flowers and herbs would be amazing! 8) 8)

Arty Farty Crafty! :)

AP can be integrated into big and small, tasteful garden and landscape design for sure.

BTW, lemme know when you need a hand!

Looked to me like you guys were having tons of fun there! (I think I missed a beer or two!)

There was a little bit of fun, but also a lot of hard work, and no, not one beer... After dropping the truck off I got home about 7.30 tonight and I'm about ready for bed now..

No Peter isn't Fayes husband, Peter is a member of a garden club Faye is involved with, he helped Eddie (Fayes husband) build the patio over her system.. He's very interested in making a system himself after watching us build Fayes and seeing the production in her system.

Yep, sump tank is lower than than the growbeds, and no the growbeds haven;t been flooded yet, except for washing the hydroton...

Might be nice one day to look at ornamental systems, but these are keeping me busy enough for now.... :)

I searched Rubbermaid's website and couldn't find these grow beds. Can you be more specific with a link perhaps?

You can't buy these exact growbeds here Keving. I had a mould custom made here in Australia to have these beds made. You do have something similar though, cropking sell systems that have plastic beds http://www.cropking.com/aqua.shtml

No Keving, noooooo! Build your own from Rubbermaid stock tanks. Like these: http://www.stockyardsupply.com/page11/index2.html

Go to your local farm store and look at their stock tanks. There's Rubbermaid and several similar brands. Much cheaper than CropKing.

Another great looking installation, EB

JP, We don`t even have the option of rubbermaid over here. An IBC and a couple of plasterers baths could provide a similar size for about £110 ($220?)..it just wouldn`t look as tidy

Crop King's tray is 4x8x1, nice size, however, it is $508.80 plus shipping and there is no additional molding to give support to the sides and bottom, like Joel's has.

I know Joel is preparing now to have about 5-10 different distribution locations with BYAP people around this country ready to sell, design, and install systems like the one he just put the pictures up of, right Joel?!

PA, IA, TX, CA, AL, NV, etc. (these are state abrev. for those down under)

Thanks for the links! The reason I was asking is because I would like to have a professional looking system like the one earthbound built. I'm having a hard enough time convincing the family/friends of this "harebrained" aquaponics scheme and feel it would help if I were using materials that had a professional feel to them as opposed to using an old bath tub or some other slapped together contraption (no offense to those that do as I have done this in the past with other projects on a smaller scale).
