The simplest way I know of supersaturating water with oxygen is to inject air while the water is under pressure. This can be as simple as an inverted "U" with water pumped through it, and air injected. Or it could be a reaction chamber. Think of a cabonated beverage -- they are supersaturated with CO2. As soon as the bottle or can is opened and the pressure relieved.... the CO2 comes out of solution and forms bubbles. The same technology that works for supersaturating beverages with CO2 should work for supersaturating water with O2. Though if the water is fizzy, it might make the fish sick.

lol, I don't know if it's 'Old Smuggler' they might jump out, but if it's a nice Chivas Royale Salute, they'll just stay put in the tanks and get tanked! :-)

I'm thinking of going with a degassing and aeration tower. As well as in tank diffuser hose and airlifts to both aerate and de-stratify the water column.

oh? Is Steve a distiller?? I made a still in the 6th grade as a science fare project, then my step dad taught me what a still was REALLY for. In retrospect, it was some of the worst 'hooch' I've ever had!

lies, damn lies, (on the quality that is!)

It has aged beautifully! (the essential oil that is, in a still that was 4.95 litres, that is ;) ;) ;))

lol, yeah here it's illegal to distill alcohol, but you can brew either beer or wine. But then it becomes illegal if you sell your beer or wine!

Actually you can own it as long as it is not assembled(I have been assured this is correct)! So if they search your house you need to have some part of it stored ina different room.
