earlier we posted pictures of a fruit fly - here are their little babies! chomping their way through 3 of my cucumbers - my silvers loved the maggots and the redclaw took care of the rest :)

Anyone know these critters? They're about 2.4mm long and like bean leaves for a start.

Woodlouse (slater) and redback, both were in my growbed. I let the slater survive.

Another mystery critter - kinda like the cup-moth caterpillers that scared me when I was young, but without the stingy tufts.

Pictured on a little broccoli leaf. No evidence of chomping. And I've since lost the leaf, I was going to keep to see what it turned into.

Had to post this pic... there are 2 of these spiders in my AP area and they are very good at taking care of the insects

Down here I just seem to get the old plain boring (usually introduced) run of the mill insects.
