I'm looking for 10 fat bastards so that I can test my grow-bed stand. I've only found one skinny little bugger so far - which is probably lucky because I have only tac welded the legs on and haven't put cross bars on yet (diagonal from top of one leg to bottom of the one beside it). More pics and comments in my system thread.

LOL
If I told my 2 year old boy that he would run away screaming. The kid screams when a slater hops on his toes!

My oldest (the one in the pic) is 5 and my young fella is 2 next month. I have had both of them feeeding my perch worms today. I figure that if they like it enough they may end up digging them and feeding the fish by choice 8) . Perchies love the worms. I had the big ones in the pond taking some from my fingers today (though I had to put my hand in the water). The Jades in the aquarium are jumping out of the water and taking algae wafers from between 2 of my fingers. Good fun and will be a good show for visitors. Hopefully I will be able to get the big ones a bit tamer in time and have them jumping for me as well.

VB, once you have them trained to fillet themselves, you know your lifes work is done, and you could retire a happy man!

ouch!

I fed my 7 indoor jades about 25 tiger worms. i timed them, 12 seconds :)

And the funny thing is they seem more interested in normal food in the days after. must "wake up" their feeding instict?

It was funny, one of the small convicts got onto a worm and was swimming around with it sticking out of its mouth with two jades chasing it. They relieved him of it very quickly :)

VB, your two kids combined might be heavier tham me. 51kgs, cant help you there. I think my water change volume from my aquarium is heavier :)

Get a few bags of rice. I'm about 90-95. I'll up for testing it out. And taking a ganda at your system up close.
