MT is in the party that is currently in power(they seem to be struggling for votes this election as they have been in power for at least 4 years(more then ever before in Australian history)). 8)

Yes there is an election coming up in September. So no doubt they are trying to get votes. MT did seem genuinely interested in our school set up... But of course I suppose that part of being a poli' these days is being a good actor. :shock:

On the bright side we did get publicity in the local news paper. As well as more leverage in asking the school and government for more money in the future. As well as AP being recognised. So defiantly more good came out of it then bad :D

he spent more time at the AP system than anywhere on campus, including the principals office, and no mention - what a let down ( but what the hey, we got our name out there (ONE OF THE FIST SCHOOLS!!!) and we got the green voucher :) )
