worth a thought steve- plus freight!
I still like the ground temp radiator thingy,
I know it is even in temp all year round
and am sure it will make a huge difference
to the balance of the system.
I have it planned for the refurb of the house footings here
but haven't had a chance to do the bits I need
to do., in order to finish the system or the house!!!

maybe summer we can have a busy bee in Marg's...
that'd be fun!!

Total Hijack sorry

:)

if i could get CHEAP DWV i'd give it a go as i reckon it would be a go-er.

how deep you reckon the stable temps are?

Anyone wanting to try this be aware that some of the new DWV has foam sandwiched in it, this would reduce the termal conductivity drastically.

cool, will PM you. Have yet to play with them.

Basically i have a bare bones room aircon, will cut out the evaporator and weld in a 1/4" length of coiled S/S tat goes in the tank.

should be about 2.5kw cooling capacity. just gotta figure the right length of 1/4" for water interface........... :)

i need my garage empty so i can play with this stuff! :(

Hve you though of using tares?
As a kid i used them for bait, you just simmer them in a pan of water until soft. They don`t smell too great when cooking though.

Alledgedly 26% protein and 50.8% carbohydrate.
Might be worth a go for added some variety in the diet.
