I’ve been banging in my basement and I’ve been sawing shapes and cuts
And I’ve got 70 cents left to my name I hope to buy two nuts
I’m 24/7 constantly obsessed distracted by
The swish of fishies tails as they sail serenely by

1 fish 2 fish I got new fish
Big ones fat ones, small ones, blue fish!...
Put it in a worm farm and
Go and feed my fish again
2 fish 4 fish I got more fish
got three tanks I can’t ignore fish
Got to feed them got to keep them
Treat them right and never beat them
(get them fat and then I eat them)

The satisfaction a man gets from solving problems quite complex
It is the best it beats the rest and must confess better than sex
The day she flew away I dug and sawed and measured the land up
And built and banged and toiled and sang – my biggest ever fishes tank!

Five fish six fish I got tricks fish
Loop the loop with tail flicks fish
Ride the bubbles pretty bubbles
Watching fishes there’s no troubles
Eight fish nine fish such divine fish
Entertain and then we dine fish
What’s a recipe with wine fish
So sublime I do love mine fish
(sit with them you’ll see they’re fine fish!)

I’ve got fish mating videos and I get ridiculed
Then trying to explain to folk that bacteria rules...
Lost half me mates I got no girl and live in total bliss
I don’t mind being single, because I love my fish.
