Well guys I just went ahead and did it.. I setup an irc server for us to use.. I am not sure how everyone else feels but, I truly enjoy "Live" conversations.
Forums are great for a resource and for some chat but real-time is fun :P

Anyway, you can connect to it at:

Channel: #backyard


This is hosted on a server or mine.. I also do web hosting so this server will be up permanently.

If you need a client MiRC works great.

well actually yes i do :) what are you lookin to do ?
BTW if we could talk to "someone" the chatroom button could be made to work with my server so people don't have to download a client

Install MiRC, then put the above info into that application and connect, Jaymie. I think I connected, but no one was there to talk to.

okay, I just tried our chatroom again and had no problems getting in, some one (?) must have fixed it

You can thank Joel for that.. it needed a server to connect to which is the server i setup.. so Jaymie.. no worries about Mirc just use the chatroom its the same place :)

it did havea server before, but i found it shit, and my name was on some sacred user list so it kept booting me off ;) I like yours better :)
