File comment: this tank is only 100 gallons but seems to do nicely. It is stocked with 16 goldfish all rescued from the feeder tank at the pet shop.

Looks good, teknix! Are those tomatoes, basil, parsley, marigold, cucumber, a pepper?

Rupert that system is about 2 and a half months old. It started out kinda rough.. we had it stocked with about 50 goldfish but considering they were saved from a feeder tank we had a pretty high mortality rate.. But everything seems to be stable now.. I am currently waiting for my brown bullhead catfish.. i feel like a little kid waiting for christmas :P

Thomas.. you nailed it.. you have quite the eye for this it seems.. you didn't miss one :) Wait.. i got some chives in there too but they are hiding :)
It seems that the tomato is trying to drown everyone out. Thomas, I wanted to give you a little tip with the nitrogen cycle.. you can boost that with some worm tea

Hi Teknix!
Welcome. I recognize the Rubbermaid--I approve, of course.

I don't quite understand the plumbing--would you explain? Are you doing flood and drain with timers, or what? And what are the pipes hanging off the roof?

Good job Tek! It looks great!

(I recognize the fish tub - It is like if JP's and my system from last Summer had a baby.)

Janet, its a continuous flow system. So i have a 600 gallon per hour pump pumping it out of the fish tank into the 50 gallon GB.. then a simple return pipe that i capped off. I drilled a half inch hole into the cap which gives me about 4 inches of water in the bottom of my GB.
The pipes that are hanging off the roof were to heat the water.. sort of like a heat exchanger. This proved to be a problem since my water temp would fluctuate from 60 degrees in the morning to 80+ by mid day.. Needless to say the fishies were a little upset with me.
This system is our test system.. Just wanted a proof of concept next is going to be a 900 gallon tank for fish and tons more grow bed.. but i need to figure out the Greenhouse layout before we can get started.
