Can anyone help me identify this type of zucchini?

i pinched it from a mates place, the vine had grown a "roof" over his roofless greenhouse and these were hanging down off the vine. Apparently the leaves can be cooked too.

i'm gonna dry the seeds, i GOTTA grow this one AP!

Keep in mind that it had had 30% already cut off it!

They are the ones they have in indonesia or phillipines or something. I have seen them before. They normally use them cooked in curries and shit I think.

nope, just looked up a gourd, not it. this thing is 1M long 10cm wide

I thought that zucchini didn't have climbing shoots and tendrils, as opposed to cucumbers and other Cucurbitaceae?

won't be able to show leaves asd their all dried and shriveled now.

I'll taste it, but i won't eat this one, they use the main wash water from the machine in the green house plenty of phosphorous, but bloody hell............

That's what I thought too.. did you eat the missing bit Steve? Looks a bit woody (and no, I really couldn't think of another word to describe it!) If so what was it like?
