Hello everyone,
Just wanted to say howdy from the states. Joel, I finally got signed up. Some good looking systems there. Glad to see aquaponics alive and well down under. Looking forward to some great info and ideas.

Likewise I'm sure people would love to hear about your systems and how your designs are going.... How did you go with the construction of your large flood valve, did it work out ok in the end...?

Hey Joel,
I am still building the flood tank. It is up to the base of the tank right now at about 5ft. off the ground. I still have to build the sides of the tank and just about have the valve finished (which would be able to be downsized for those without the US style toilet valves we have here). I have had to work on getting non-profit paperwork (est. 100hrs. to complete) and just finished a 2 week missionary medical course. Hopefully in about a week or two I can get back on track with the Kenya prototype.
