I'm a little bit sceptical ... why is it a registered trademark? Did they actually breed it or is it genetically modified?

i read that it is a cross of a green sunfish and a bluegill.

Sounds nice! Minimum order is 500 fish. Hope you have that kind of space!

Wow that thing is a mutant.

It would be interesting to see how they would grow out in closed system. I am also curious as to why they need bass to control the pop. I would think that they would clean up thier own fry. Specially since they are said to be such aggresive feeders.

MC, maybe you could split an order with someone nearby. Dave Donley lives a couple hours from me, and we split an order of 150 tilapia. Have them shipped to whoever can handle that many fish better, let them rest at least a week, then the second person can go get their share.

found a cheaper source of bluegill, not sure if they are bigger than mine though. http://www.suttlefish.com/pricelist.html would really like to find a source of catfish.........
