This has happened a bit sooner than i thought, damn u ebay.
Greenhouse measures 4.5m in width by 7.2m in length.
We will fit 11 steel barrels side by side on the north and south walls and will run 5 or 6 length ways side by side down the middle. The barrels measure 90mm long by 60mm wide by30mm high when cut in half.
All up about 3000lts of GB space.
Plumbing the beds will be a little time consuming but the barrels are cheap, so there is the trade off. I am going to place them close to the ground using some of the timber that i got from my ebay GH purchase. This will allow me the option of a second tier down the track.
I thought about burying my fishtank in the GH but have decided to wall off half my 6m by 4m garage, to better control water temp fluctuations. I am thinking of using my 2 free 500lt tubs as header tanks in my GH, pumping from the fishtank to the header tank and draining to GBs then draining back to fishtank in garage.
Dad has just shown up so we will have a "site conference" and i will post some pics shortly.

In the background of this pic, you can see the silver garage behind the water tank. I will have my fishtank in there and run piping past water tank, where i have a spare gate valve i can utilize. I can then run piping to the top of the GH and around the corner to header tanks on the western border. Alternatively I can just pipe into the GH from near the water tank, not have header tanks and do it that way. Not 100% sure which way to go yet. Thoughts anyone?

File comment: need to decide if i am gunna run pipe along here to headers, or just pipe inside GH from near water tank.

Had i not picked up the hoops on ebay, Nova, i would still be in the dreaming stage. Dad has got the bit between his teeth now and there is no stopping him! I guess the sooner we get the thing up, the sooner i can start growing some clean food for my family. This replaces my dirt veg garden but for root crops. I really want it up and running. Have a full water tank, so the sooner i get a fishtank, the sooner i can capture some more rainwater!
Thanx all for ur kind thoughts, really need a bit of plumbing advice from those with a bit of a clue, as i don't really have one!
