Think that might be a red vb - look very similar but tigers have distinctive yellow bands

Looks great, but.. Rhubarb grows in AP? I thought that you had to let the rhubarb grow strong for about three years before you can harvest! That leaves a lot of time for the system to crash and your plants to die.. Or at least I'd certainly have killed them by then :p

We used to grow rhubarb as well (luckily the plants had been in the ground for years already), we had so much that we started making things like 'rhubarb pie' (with lady fingers and cream).. I can really recommend that, by the way!

The electric wires are growing well, too. When do you think they'll be ready to harvest?

I've never worried about waiting to harvest rhubarb. I have 4 plants and need to pull 3 of them out every year otherwise they take over the garden (dirt). I replant shoots of the ones pulled out and start picking them within a couple of months. Never had a problem.

I would think rhubarb would be good for AP as it will get lots of water, although it may grow little too well. Keep an eye on it Les and let us know how it goes. :)

Dave - don't encourage him :violent1:

Nova, rhubarb is in there as a pacifier for the other half, I've got to empty and move that GB shortly so will have to plant more in the near future
