Thank you C1. It's been a lot of hard work, but enjoyable.

Thomas, yes they are strawberries. They were in the old veggie garden that made way for the green house. So they got dug up & ended up in tubs of water while the system was being set up (about 8 weeks) then transplanted into the GB's. They started flowering about 3 weeks ago after the plastic went on the green house.

That door practically disappears when it closed.... you've got yourself a secret entrance.

Well down mate! Is that the last of the pictures?

Not much has changed in the last 3-4 weeks since the last photo except plant growth. Every thing going good except temperature. Fish tank is at 15 degrees & fish aren't eating much.

So what have you got happening in the way of pumps? Just the two? Does it use autosiphons or just stand pipes? Are you running an oxygenator? Do you have a backup system for if the power goes out? etc etc

David.... obviously you have chosen to disregard the rules of this forum :sign6:

As a noob, you are not allowed to build a system that could potentially upstage any of the other systems on this site. You must first approach with outstretched hand, submit to the masters and system administrators and post quite friendly  among us, seek approval for a ten gallon aquarium with a plastic tray grow bed on top of it and allow everyone to critique your first noob attempt. Then you must have posted at least 1,000 posts containing personal information such as marital status, kinder, whether you drive an ute or a pickup truck, what your favorite beer is, and most importantly whether you subscribe to autosiphons or standpipes.

However, in light of your framing skills, ability to maintain a tidy worksite and plan a large system, perhaps you can be forgiven? brushteeth .

Mike, shame on you. Consult the Manual:

The BYAP Forum Manual wrote:

Rule 249: Noobs that invent wonderful pulley-based hats for their fish shall be forgiven any offense.

That's alright MF, we can all take credit for being the pioneers of the placky AP system....others have only followed and improved on the concept

Been looking at how to throw up one of those jazzy hats but the roof struts are not going over the tank  ...solution, move the tank

Les can you put a strut between them?
A nice looking hat wouldn't be too heavy.

Thank you oh!! Great masters of the forum. I beg your humble forgiveness for my blatant disregard for the clearly set rules. I am greatly relieved that my insolence has been forgiven with my offering of the aqua hat.

I for one can't be angry at a person (albeit noob :) ) with such carpentry skills.

Your forgiven... I still have 80 posts to go for my big system approval. Then my 250 fish kill badge.
