Oh!, Don't forget to do your JSA (job safety analysis) Check the MSDS (material safety Data Sheet) Get a drug test and a health cert from your Dr before attempting anything

BYAP works on the assumption that all soap boxes have all required paper work filed, all saftey issues and inspections seen to and that you (the user) will only use said soap box in a safe and responsible manner (did I leave anything out ? )

if your soap boxes are more than 2 meters up then you'll need a harness too.

My problem is all of my soapboxes are now made of pasteboard! (They will not meet the required load bearing requirements to meet the OSHA standard.) I guess I could use my step ladder. Hmmm... No go, I exceed it's weight capacity too! :(

Careful, you could land up going above the permitted height and as a result if you were to fall you may not be covered by workman's compensation benefits scheme

And I'm guessing the use of a step ladder would result in de-registration of your Soapbox Lectureres & Utility Trades membership.

Should join the union before stepping up on the soap box - in case run into any trouble with the boss or the man.

I guess there comes a time when we all become too old to climb up on a soap box and reach for a step ladder instead.

There isn't any shame in that, and it entitles us to membership of a long standing and esteemed gild....the "Followers of Ancient Rituals & Traditions"

There's pride to be had in being an old F.A.R.T
