Nice setup. Have you considered suspending the strawberry NFT system from the ceiling of your GH?

I'll be getting up with you in Feb when I'm home for a visit. I am especially interested in water heating as I am looking to expand my unit this year and want to start keeping Talapia.

I didn't add any heat this year. Have in years past, but thought I'd see just how far I could push the tilapia... Water temp got as low as 42º F on multiple occasions, sometimes for days at a time... only had a couple floaters. Last year I dared 46-48º before adding heat...

Today, I set my breeding tank back up and started cycling water through black pipe in the rafters. Started at 74º at noon and by 6 pm was sitting at 84º. I'll push it up a little more before adding mood music... Babies in a couple weeks!! (FYI, I cut off that pump over night to slow heat loss and run during days...)

How did this turn out?

I am doing a fish farm hoping to grow tilapia and Red Claws also but I was told I don't just need a water tank, I also need a geomembrane liner https://carsonliners.com/geomembranes/... is that true? Or did your fish survive just fine?

I am curious to see how your banana plants did in your system and see it they got too big and nutrient hungry for your system as they matured.
