Hello everyone,

I have successfully managed a small scale aquaponics Hybrid Media bed and raft system for the past year.

Now i'm looking into building a new NFT system with 11 cm round pipes, but i can't seem to find (maybe due to my lack of advanced internet search skills) specific data on sizing the Fish tank based on how much grow area of pipes i have.

The only thing i found is when using NFT you have to scale down to 25% of raft system feeding rate.

but honestly i didn't understand it.

My system is a 1000 Liters IBC tote with 3 raft growbeds each supporting 25 heads and 1 media flood and drain.

if i want to use the same size IBC tote for NFT, how would i calculate based on m2 of grow area.
