Yeah me too I’ll pop in for a squizz and answer questions I feel are within my experience and capability however when things get more complicated I wait for someone with the right skill set to answer. Unfortunately more often than not they go unanswered.
I don’t do Facebook or the other platforms as I prefer real life..... There are still some forums buzzing along you just need to instil people’s inner want and they’ll come back.
But welcome back Pond_sucker anyway.

I came back after several years of dealing with the aftermath of a divorce.

I think people in all countries can't understand how or why the massive unregulated corporations have taken over our governments. Corporations are the opposite of democracies. They don't care about people, period. People especially working people, are pissed off. The news has been corrupted by corporations, no more investigative reporting only propaganda. The government only does what the corporations will let them do, such as give themselves more tax breaks while most people don't have jobs or health care in a pandemic. I got tired of researching and writing about what I learned. No one cared, I got disillusioned with people and their idiot conspiracy theories while looking down on science and techs like myself. Spring has me feeling good again, so I'm back

Good to see some people are still here. I am like F&F look in but don't comment too much.
I do have a system up and running again but I have had a few issues after many years away from aquaponics.
I am also like Kheroot dealing with divorce after trying to keep everyone happy and not being myself.
Kheroot I hope everything is now good again.
I hope everyone here is in a good place and growing lots of food for the table.

Yes I am another one of those who has had a marriage bust up and had to move house and leave my good greenhouse behind. I am now in a rented house which has its drawbacks. Also I was having trouble with people stealing my Fish and thought to hell with it .I now have a small hydro system which is going well.I am also trying using food to be my medicine which is looking good.It could all be used in aquaponics as well. The other thing that cheesed me off was that if I posted something there were always a few who that would knock the idea and at the same time prove that they didn't know what they were talking about. There was one fellow that I was hoping to catch up with but haven't heard from that had spangled perch at Cue I Western Australia.

I still drop in on rare occasion, but there is rarely any new activity that warrants a comment. I'm still running the same two systems for almost 10 years now with reasonably good success and good stability. I don't kill many fish by accident anymore.

From the posts above it makes it sound like AP is hard on marriages! Thankfully my wife realized I am cuckoo many years ago and she is able to deal with it.

I definitely miss the old timers and activity from a few years back with Brian, Faye, TCLynx, and so many others that were incredibly helpful when I was getting started.

Cheers to all.
